The Book Club has selected its books for next fall/early winter. We welcome anyone who has read the book being discussed. All these books are available in the Toronto library system.
Selected books are:
November 1 Fight Night by Miriam Toews
A close-knit family of three generations live together in Toronto. Swiv, a teenager, has been expelled from school for fighting. Mom is a pregnant actress who is also caring for her aging mother. Grandma, a retired nurse, has many health problems. but a very positive attitude to life. This is a warm and very funny story.
