| HOLY WEEK AND EASTER 2023 |
| Whether you come to church once a week, year, or decade, you are welcome at Bloor Street United Church for Holy Week and Easter! We offer three ways to experience worship: 1. In person Sunday services begin at 10:30am at 729 St. Clair Avenue West. 2. Livestreamed services begin at 10:30am (doors open at 10am) on Sunday mornings via Zoomchurch or you can phone in to 647-374-4685 or 647-558-0588, and give meeting ID 361 611 8730, ##. 3. Afterwards you can view edited Sunday services via the BSUC YouTube channel, and full services will be emailed out in our newsletter. Message [email protected] if you would like to be added to our mailing list. WHAT’S ON? Sunday April 2 @ 10:30am – Palm Sunday This Sunday we mark Palm Sunday in the Sanctuary! Worship will be led by Russ and Lauren, and music will be led by Paul, Mikey, and the Choir. Lauren’s sermon topic is Palm Sunday’s Political Protest. You can find the Order of Service here. Before worship we have Zoom Sunday School for the kids, and everyone is invited to stay for Coffee Hour in the Parlour after worship! Thursday April 6 @ 6:30pm – Maundy Thursday Upper Room Meal & Worship in the Sanctuary at St. Matthew’s United Church (729 St Clair Ave West). Due to the experiential nature of this service, it will be an in-person service only. Friday April 7: Good Friday – Bloor Street and St. Matt’s will have separate Good Friday services this year. St. Matthew’s Good Friday Stations of the Cross Service will be at St. Matt’s at 11am. Bloor Street will be joining Trinity St. Paul’s United Church at TSP (427 Bloor Street West) at 10:30am and on the TSP Zoom account for a service that will include special music by David Passmore. Sunday April 9 @ 10:30am – Easter Sunday at St. Matt’s and on Zoomchurch! This service will include Communion.  |
