Details about Yvonne:

• wrote the Question Box column for the United Church Observer for 10 years
• served three years on the faculty of St. Stephen’s College in Edmonton co-coordinating the western field-based diaconal ministry programme and doing research in new church development
• served in team ministry as minister for leadership development for three years at Erin Mills UC in Mississauga
• freelanced for 8 years – writing and editing UCC educational materials, leading retreats, consulting with congregations and judicatories in several denominations in Canada and US, worked with the Vancouver School of Theology Congregational Vitalization project and other research
• spent 11 years at United Church House – 8 in children’s ministry and 3 in leadership development
• served 3 years in Thorncliffe Park United Church in social and educational ministry in an apartment community
• taught human and child development at George Brown College
• worked as a social worker at Central Neighbourhood House
• a long time member of Trinity-St. Paul’s UC in Toronto – coordinated the Pastoral Care Team, served on Christian Education, Worship Planning, Stewardship and other committees as well as teaching church school
• a life-long lay member of the UCC
