Adaptive Conversations

Adaptive Conversation Has Begun! On November 3 the first small group meets as part of the Adaptive Conversation for Bloor Street Church. The Adaptive Conversation is an ongoing process in which our congregation engages deeply with our hopes, our fears, our dreams and with the issues that will shape us on our ‘camping trip’ and when we return to our renewed building. As part of this process, there will be special educational events, a research process, and  visits to other faith communities.

There are still some available slots in the adaptive conversation circles for this fall. This evening’s session is full, but there is room in the Dec. 1^st session (in person) and the Dec. 8^th session (on zoom). Please email [email protected] if you would like to join one.

BTW the fall sessions have been one-offs – each participant has joined one session only. In the new year, we will run some sessions in with you sign up for several weekly meetings with the same group of people. These will be available both in person and on zoom.

QUESTIONS:

What am I commiting to if I sign up? You are signing up for one session, which will involve spiritual practice and conversation.

Can I sign up for multiple sessions? Yes, you can go to more than one, but these are small groups of no more than 8 people.

What Zoom link is it on? Russ will send you his own Zoom link before your session.

Will there be more sessions? Yes, we are hoping to do more, and at different times (eg. afternoon sessions).
